Sitepins is an open-source, Git-based headless CMS for static sites built with Astro, Next.js, Hugo, and similar generators, including sites built with AI tools like Claude, Lovable, and Replit. It lets non-technical users and vibe coders edit content visually while keeping every change versioned in Git.

Works with AI-Built (Vibe-Coded) Sites
Sites built using AI tools such as Claude, Lovable, Replit, or Google AI Studio can also be managed through Sitepins. The requirement is the same as for any other project: the site's code needs to be hosted in a Git repository (GitHub or GitLab). Once that repo is connected, content can be managed via Sitepins.
Who It's For
- Freelancers and agencies: Client sites built in Astro, Hugo, Next.js, or with AI builders get handed over with Sitepins already connected. The client updates their own content directly, without emailing a developer to change a heading. This cuts down on support requests after launch and removes the risk of a client touching raw code and breaking something.
- Founders and business owners: Non-technical or semi-technical marketing teams make copy changes themselves instead of waiting on a developer, so routine updates stop bottlenecking on engineering time. Teams needing multiple users, branches, and pull requests get that structure without adopting a heavier CMS like WordPress, keeping the stack lightweight and the site fully in Git.
- Personal sites and/or vibe-coded sites: Portfolios and blogs built on a modern stack, or sites built by prompting Claude, Lovable, or similar AI tools, get managed through Sitepins afterward. Posts publish from a desktop or phone without opening a code editor, and small edits no longer cost extra AI tokens or prompts.
